Mike Stubbs started MS Concrete in Iron County, Utah in the 1980s. Four decades later the company pours everything from residential flatwork to civil infrastructure — and it never left Cedar City to do it.
The company grew the way concrete outfits used to: job by job. Residential slabs and driveways first. Then whole subdivisions — curb & gutter, sidewalks, and flatwork at scale, through the years when Cedar City and the I-15 corridor were growing fast.
When the housing market turned in the late 2000s, a lot of concrete companies disappeared. MS Concrete went the other direction — into commercial and civil infrastructure work, where the specs are tighter and the pours are bigger. That range is the company today: a crew that's equally at home forming an ADA ramp to spec or stamping a back patio.
The project record runs across Southern Utah — Cedar City, St. George, Washington City, Hurricane, and Milford — with work spanning curb & gutter, walkways, retaining walls with decorative finishes, stamped concrete, and large civil and industrial projects.

Forms out, debris gone, and clear guidance on cure times before we call a job finished.

Plenty of contractors chase work up and down the I-15 corridor and disappear when the job's done. MS Concrete has been reachable at the same Cedar City phone number through four decades of booms, busts, and building seasons. When your concrete outlasts the warranty by twenty years, it matters that the company that poured it still answers.
